From an early age, I struggled with irritated skin and ingrown hairs. I believed I had sensitive skin, but after regular visits to a dermatologist I was relieved when I found out my skin wasn’t the issue. Shaving was. I had tried many razor brands and was frustrated with the lack of results, so I became obsessed with finding a solution. I had an “a-ha!” moment when I realized my skin was getting irritated and over-exfoliated from the harsh conventional multiple-blade razors. I knew there had to be a universal solution that not only worked for me, but for everyone.

As an inventor and product designer, I was determined to reinvent the shaving experience from the ground up. My team and I devoted over 10 years of research and development to perfect this razor so everyone can feel happy and confident in their own skin — and that’s exactly why we decided to name it ALLY.

Ally was founded in Beachwood, CA - a small, private community that some of Los Angeles’ most creative minds call home: Innovative and original; Luxurious and simple; The city’s secret nature escape between the Hollywood stars and the stars over Hollywood.

We at Ally have always been inspired by the unique contrast of nature, and the wildly magical city of Los Angeles. We used this inspiration to combine luxury with simplicity for all our products.
